Pastor Rolland Hayag began his appointment at Pecatonica UMC in July 2021. Pastor Rolland and his wife Joy have three adult children. Pastor Rolland graduated as a Master of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary of the Philippines in 2009. His wife, Joy, currently works as the Children’s and Family Ministries Director at Christ UMC in Rockford. He additionally serves Shirland UMC as a pastor along with the Pecatonica United Methodist Church. Pastor Rolland has a heart for pastoral care. He serves his churches through officiating worship with instruments and singing, visiting parishioners who are home bound or in nursing homes to pray, leading worship in parks, officiating weddings and funeral services, volunteering in mission work such as feeding programs, directing youth groups and summer camps, and leading bible study. He is happy and excited to serve as pastor and get to know the community!

Wednesday: 9:00am-2:00pm

Andrea comes to us with a background in church administration. She and her husband, Rob, moved to this area in 2021. Andrea does our bookkeeping and manages the office tasks.

Custodian: Lorraine Doran
Lorraine has been with the church since October 2019. She believes that keeping God’s House clean and ready for visitors is important. During this Covid-19 Pandemic, we are taking additional precautions using a backpack sanitizer to fully sanitize all surfaces following services and other events at the church. We offer sanitizing stations throughout the church. You can leave a message for Lorraine through the office: 815-239-1110.
